Nova Scotia seeks applicants for provincial boards and commissions

Nova Scotians interested in helping shape public services can apply for positions on provincial agencies, boards and commissions.

The province launched its latest recruitment call Friday, highlighting opportunities in healthcare, agriculture, education, community safety and other fields.

The current application deadline is October 20, although many positions accept applications year-round. Candidates are assessed on their skills and qualifications and the needs of each organization.

Available roles include positions on university boards, agriculture boards and the Nova Scotia Assessment Appeal Tribunal. Appointees typically receive reimbursement for expenses, with some positions also offering payment.

Residents can review opportunities and track applications through the province’s online application system.
