Halifax Mooseheads Take Four-Game Winning Streak Into Preseason Finale

The Halifax Mooseheads will close their preseason Friday against the Saint John Sea Dogs at the RBC Centre in Dartmouth.

Halifax enters the game on a four-game winning streak. The Mooseheads rebounded from a 5–1 loss to Cape Breton in their preseason opener and scored seven or more goals in two of their four victories.

The production has been spread across the lineup, with 13 Halifax players recording multiple points during the streak.

Offseason addition Mateo Nobert scored three goals in two preseason appearances. Goaltender Jack Fichthorn won both of his starts, stopping 56 of the 59 shots he faced.

Friday’s game begins at 6 p.m.

The Mooseheads open the regular season at Scotiabank Centre on Saturday, September 19, against the Moncton Wildcats. Puck drop for the home opener is scheduled for 7 p.m.
