RCMP say a Halifax Transit driver was confronted and rocks were thrown at a bus in Lower Sackville.
Two youths have been arrested following an incident involving a Halifax Transit driver at the Cobequid terminal in Lower Sackville. RCMP were called during the early morning of August 27 after receiving a report of a disturbance involving several youths.
Investigators were told members of the group attempted to fight with the driver, blocked the bus from leaving and threw rocks at the vehicle. The driver was not injured, and police said there were no passengers aboard the bus at the time.
Officers located the group after it left the terminal and arrested two youths for assault. Because the accused are young people, their identities are protected under Canadian law. The allegations have not been proven in court.
